Sec. 207. (a) Chapter 35 of title 38, United States Code, is amended by adding at the end of subchapter VI thereof a new section as follows: “§ 1763. Notification of eligibility “The Administrator shall notify the parent or guardian of each eligible person defined in section 1701 (a) (1) (A) of this chapter of the educational assistance available to such person under this chapter. Such notification shall be provided not later than the month in which such eligible person attains his thirteenth birthday or as soon thereafter as feasible.” (b) The table of sections at the beginning of chapter 35 of such title is amended by inserting immediately below “1762. Nonduplication of benefits.” the following: “1763. Notification of eligibility.”.
