Sec. 309. Section 3 of the Act of June 18, 1934, as amended (19 U.S.C. 81c) is amended by— (a) striking the term “collector of customs” and inserting in lien thereof “appropriate customs officer”; and (b) striking the word “collector” and inserting in lieu thereof “appropriate customs officer”.
