authorization of appropriations for modernization grants Sec. 102. (a) Effective with respect to appropriations made under section 601 of the Public Health Service Act for fiscal years beginning after June 30, 1970, such section is further amended— (1) by striking out in paragraph (b) the following: “and for grants for modernization of such facilities and the facilities referred to in paragraph (a) ”; (2) by adding after paragraph (b) the following new paragraph: “(c) for grants for modernization of the facilities referred to in paragraphs (a) and (b), $65,000,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1971, $80,000,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1972, and $90,000,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1973.”; and 84 Stat. 338 (3) by insert big “and modernization” after “construction” hi the section heading.
