(a) Except as provided in part E of title I, section 502, and subsection (b) of this section, this Act and the amendments made by this Act shall take effect on the first day of the seventh calendar month which begins after the date of its enactment. 84 Stat. 668 (b) (1) Title III shall take effect on the date of the enactment of this Act. In the admin is) rat ion of section 303(b) of title 111 during the period beginning on the date of the enactment of this Act and ending on the effective date specified in subsection (a), the reference to the Superior Court of the District of Columbia shall be considered a reference to the District of Columbia Court of General Sessions. (2) Titles IV, VI, VII. and VIII shall take effect on the date of the enactment of this Act. (3) The amendments made by sections 201 and 205 of this Act shall apply with respect to any person who commits an offense after the effective date of this Act.
