Sec. 205. The Secretary of the Navy is authorized to acquire, under such terms as he deems appropriate, land or interests in land (including easements) in approximately four hundred eighteen acres of privately owned property contiguous to the western approach to Runway 06–24 of the Marine Corps Air Station, Santa Ana, California, as he considers necessary for safe and efficient operations at that station. Acquisition of such land or interests in land shall lie effected by the exchange of such excess land or interests in land of approximately equal value, as the Secretary of Defense may determine to be available for the purpose. If the fair market value of the land or interests in land to be acquired is less than the fair market value of the Government property to be exchanged, the amount of such deficiency shall be paid to the Government.
