Sec. 105. The Secretary of the Army is authorized to acquire out of appropriations which may be available for Civil Defense in the fiscal year 1971 Independent Offices Appropriations Act, under such terms84 Stat. 1208 as he deems appropriate, land or interests in land in approximately one hundred and sixty acres in the vicinity of Mount Joy, Pennsylvania, as he considers necessary for the construction of a prototype Decision Information Distribution System facility to augment and upgrade the area’s Civil Defense warning capability.
