Sec. 203. (a) There is hereby created the National Commission on Materials Policy (hereafter referred to as the “Commission”) which shall be composed of seven members chosen from Government service and the private sector for their outstanding qualifications and demonstrated competence with regard to matters related to materials policy, to be appointed by the President with the advice and consent of the Senate, one of whom he shall designate as Chairman. (b) The members of the Commission shall serve without compensation, but shall be reimbursed for travel, subsistence, and other neces-84 Stat. 1235sary expenses incurred by them in carrying out the duties of the Commission.
