Section 103(b) of the Housing Act of 1949 is amended— (1) by striking out “and by $1,700,000,000 on July 1, 1970” in the first sentence and inserting in lieu thereof “by $1,700,000,000 on July 1, 1970, and by $1,500,000,000 on July 1, 1971”; and (2) by striking out “beginning July 1, 1969, and July 1, 1970” in the second sentence and inserting in lieu thereof “commencing after June 30, 1969 and ending prior to July 1, 1974”.
