The first sentence of section 10(e) of the United States Housing Act of 1937 is amended by striking out “Provided further” and inserting in lieu thereof “Provided further, That at least 30 per centum of the total amount of contracts for annual contributions entered into in any fiscal year pursuant to the new authority granted under section 202 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1970 or under any law subsequently enacted shall be entered into with respect to units of low-rent housing in private accommodations provided under section 23: And provided further”.
