release from certain project obligations Sec. 214. Notwithstanding any other provision of this Act or title I of the Housing Act of 1949, as amended, the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development is authorized and directed to release the City of Stanton, Texas, and the Urban Renewal Agency of the City of Stanton, Texas, from the obligations of their agreement with the Department of Housing and Urban Development, entered into in connection with the closeout of projects numbered Tex. R–15 and Tex. 84 Stat. 1780R–81 and to close out those projects, effective as of the original date of closeout, on the basis of the authority granted under section 213 of this Act.
