Sec. 12. Title I of the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 is amended by inserting after part II (as designated by section 10 of this Act) the following new part: Part I—Attorney General’s Annual Report on Federal Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice Activities Sec. 670. The Attorney General, in consultation with the appropriate officials in the agencies involved, within 90 days of the end of each fiscal year shall submit to the President and to the Congress an Annual Report on Federal Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice Assistance Activities setting forth the programs conducted, expenditures made, results achieved, plans developed, and problems discovered in the operations and coordination of the various Federal assistance programs relating to crime prevention and control, including, but not limited to. the Juvenile Delinquency Prevention and Control Act of 1968, the Narcotics Addict Rehabilitation Act 1968, the Gun Control Act 1968, the Criminal Justice Act of 1964, title XI of the Organized Crime Control Act of 1970 (relating to the regulation of explosives), and title III of the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 (relating to wiretapping and electronic surveillance).
