THE JUDICIARY Supreme Court of the United States “Salaries”, $189,000; “Care of the building and grounds”, $15,000; “Automobile for the Chief Justice”, $800; Court of Customs and Patent Appeals “Salaries and expenses”, $32,000; 85 Stat. 58 Customs Court “Salaries and expenses”, $146,000; Court of Claims “Salaries and expenses”, $78,000; Courts of Appeals, District Courts, and Other Judicial Services “Salaries of judges”, $25,000; “Salaries of supporting personnel”, $4,437,000; “Administrative Office of the United States Courts”, $190,000; “Salaries of referees”, $10,000, to be derived from the Referees’ salary and expense fund; “Expenses of referees”, to lie derived from the Referees’ salary and expense fund, $700,000, of which $25,000 shall be transferred to the appropriation “Administrative Office of the United States Courts” for general administrative expenses of the bankruptcy system.
