amendments to title xi of the higher education act of 1965 Sec. 191. (a) Title XI of the Higher Education Act of 1965 is amended by inserting “grant or” before “contract”, and “grants or” before “contracts” wherever they appear. (b) Clause (5) of section 1101 (b) of such Act is amended to read as follows: “(5) equipment and library resources; and”. (c) Section 1103 of such Act is amended by striking out “$340,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1969”, and by striking out “fiscal years ending June 30, 1970, and June 30, 1971”, and inserting in lieu thereof “succeeding fiscal years ending prior to July 1, 1975”. Such section is further amended by striking out the second sentence. 86 Stat. 324 (d) The amendments made by this section shall be effective after June 30, 1971.
