Sec. 304. Chapter 34 of title 38, United States Code, is amended by striking out section 1684 in its entirety and inserting in lieu thereof the following: “§ 1684. Apprenticeship or other on-job training; correspondence courses “Any eligible veteran may pursue a program of apprenticeship or other on-job training or a program of education exclusively by correspondence and be paid an educational assistance allowance or training assistance allowance, as applicable, under the provisions of section 1787 or 1786 of this title.”
