Other Procurement, Navy For procurement, production, and modernization of support equipment and materials not otherwise provided for, Navy ordnance and ammunition (except ordnance for new aircraft, new ships, and ships authorized for conversion), purchase of not to exceed eight hundred and seventy passenger motor vehicles (including five medium sedans at not to exceed $3,000 each) for replacement only; alteration of vessels and necessary design therefor, expansion of public and private plants, including the land necessary therefor, and such lands and interests therein, may be acquired, and construction prosecuted thereon prior to approval of title as required by section 355, Revised Statutes, as amended; and procurement and installation of equipment, appliances, and machine tools in public or private plants; $2,310,900,000, of which $23,500,000 shall be available only for the Trident program, and in addition, $90,000,000, of which $40,000,000 shall be derived by transfer from “Other Procurement, Navy, 1972/1974”, and $50,000,000 which shall be derived by transfer from “Other Procurement, Navy, 1971/1973”, to remain available for obligation until June 30, 1975.
