(a) Section 1101(a)(1) of the Social Security Act is amended by adding at the end thereof the following, new sentence: “Such term when used in title V also includes American Samoa and the Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands.” (b) Section 1108(d) of such Act is amended by inserting, after “allot such smaller amount to Guam”, the following: “, American Samoa, and the Trust Territory of the Pacific Islands”. (c) The amendments made by this section shall apply with respect to fiscal years beginning after June 30, 1971.
