Department of Agriculture rural development service For necessary expenses, not otherwise provided for, of the Rural Development Service in providing leadership, coordination, research, and related services in carrying out the rural development activities of the Department of Agriculture, $2,661,000: Provided, That this appropriation shall be available for employment pursuant to the second sentence of section 706(a) of the Organic Act of 1944 (7 U.S.C. 2225), and not to exceed $3,000 shall be available for employment under 5 U.S. C. 3109. rural development grants and technical assistance For grants and technical assistance authorized by the Rural Development Act of 1972 (Public Law 93–419), in addition to funds otherwise provided for such assistance, $10,000,000.
