Bureau of Customs salaries and expenses For necessary expenses of the Bureau of Customs, including purchase of two hundred and twenty-one passenger motor vehicles (of which seventy-eight shall be for replacement only), including two hundred and eleven for police-type use; acquisition (purchase of one), operation, and maintenance of aircraft; hire of passenger motor87 Stat. 512 vehicles and aircraft; and awards of compensation to informers as authorized by the. Act of August 13, 1953 (22 U.S.C. 401); $221,200,000: Provided, That none of the funds appropriated under tins heading shall be available for transfer to any other account or agency, or for the performance of any activities other than those specifically authorized under this heading.
