Sec. 98. The Secretary of the Army, acting through the Chief of Engineers, is authorized and directed to undertake a demonstration project for the removal of silt and aquatic growth from Broadway Lake, Anderson County. South Carolina, at an estimated cost of $400,000. The Secretary shall report to the Administrator of the 88 Stat. 41Environmental Protection Agency the plans for and the results of such project together with such recommendations as he determines necessary to assist in carrying out the program for fresh water lakes under section 314 of the Federal Water Pollution Control Act.
