SEC. 202. NATIONAL FILM REGISTRY OF THE LIBRARY OF CONGRESS. The Librarian of Congress (hereinafter in this title referred to as the “Librarian”) shall establish a National Film Registry pursuant to the provisions of this title, for the purpose of maintaining and preserving films that are culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant.
