Sec. 201. (a) Effective July 1, 1974, section 390 is amended by adding after subsection (b) the following new subsection: “(c) For the purpose of grants and contracts under sections 393, 394, 395, 396, and 397, there are authorized to be appropriated $17,500,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1975, and $20,000,000 for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1976.” (b) The section heading for such section is amended to read as follows: “declaration of policy, statement of purpose, and authorization of appropriations”. (c) The authorization of appropriations provided by section 390(c) of the Public Health Service Act is extended for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1977, in the amount authorized for the preceding fiscal year88 Stat. 372 unless before June 30, 1976, Congress has passed legislation repealing this subsection.
