Sec. 206. Section 101 of the Federal Aviation Act of 1958 (49 U.S.C. 1301), relating to definitions, is amended by redesignating paragraphs (22) through (36) as paragraphs (24) through (38), respectively, and by inserting immediately after paragraph (21) the following new paragraphs: “(22) ‘Intrastate air carrier’ means any citizen of the United States who undertakes, whether directly or indirectly or by a lease or any other arrangement, to engage solely in intrastate air transportation. “(23) ‘Intrastate air transportation’ means the carriage of persons or property as a common carrier for compensation or hire, by turbojet-powered aircraft capable of carrying thirty or more persons, wholly within the same State of the United States.”.
