FINANCING PROVISIONS.
SEC. 107. FINANCING PROVISIONS. Section 104 of the Emergency Unemployment Compensation Act of 1991 (Public Law 102–164, as amended) is amended by adding at the end thereof the following new subsection: “(e) Transfer of Funds.—Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the Secretary of the Treasury shall transfer from the general fund of the Treasury (from funds not otherwise appropriated)— “(1) to the extended unemployment compensation account (as established by section 905 of the Social Security Act) such sums as are necessary to make payments to States under this Act by reason of the amendments made by sections 101 and 102 of the Unemployment Compensation Amendments of 1992, and “(2) to the employment security administration account (as established by section 901 of the Social Security Act) such sums as may be necessary for purposes of assisting States in meeting administrative costs by reason of the amendments made by sections 101, 102, 201, and 202 of the Unemployment Compensation Amendments of 1992. There is hereby appropriated from such accounts the sums referred to in the preceding sentence and such sums shall not be required to be repaid.”
