Sec. 203. Beginning with the calendar year 1975, the District of Columbia Board of Education shall, by March 1 of each year, submit to the Mayor of the District of Columbia the— (a) percentage rate of the cost-of-living change since the effective date of the last increase of the compensation schedule for educational personnel in the District of Columbia: and (b) results of a study comparing compensation of teachers in the District of Columbia with (1) teachers in cities of comparable size, and (2) teachers within other jurisdictions of the Washington metropolitan area. The Mayor shall submit the information submitted to him by the Board under this section to the Council of the District of Columbia along with his recommendations with respect to compensation (and other related matters) of educational personnel of the Board.
