political funds of corporations or labor organizations Sec. 103. Section 611 of title 18, United States Code, relating to contributions by firms or individuals contracting with the United States, is amended by adding at the end thereof the following new paragraphs: “This section does not prohibit or make unlawful the establishment or administration of, or the solicitation of contributions to, any separate segregated fund by any corporation or labor organization for the purpose of influencing the nomination for election, or election, of any person to Federal office, unless the provisions of section 610 of this title prohibit or make unlawful the establishment or administration of, or the solicitation of contributions to, such fund. “For purposes of this section, the term ‘labor organization’ has the meaning given it by section 610 of this title.”.
