SEC. 146. PROHIBITION OF DENIAL OF SECTION 8 CERTIFICATES AND VOUCHERS TO RESIDENTS OF PUBLIC HOUSING. Section 8 of the United States Housing Act of 1937 (as amended by section 145 of this Act) is further amended by adding at the end the following new subsection: “(s) In selecting families for the provision of assistance under this section (including subsection (o)), a public housing agency may not exclude or penalize a family solely because the family resides in a public housing project.”.
