enforcement Sec. 206. Section 208(a) of the Federal Railroad Safety Act of 1970 (45 U.S.C. 437(a)) is amended by adding at the end thereof the following new sentence: “The Secretary is further authorized to issue orders directing compliance with this Act or with any railroad safety rule, regulation, order, or standard issued under this Act; the district courts of the United States shall have jurisdiction, upon petition by the Attorney General, to enforce such orders by appropriate means.”.
