repeal of section 225 of social security amendments of 1872 Sec. 234. (a) Section 1903 of the Social Security Act is amended by striking out subsection (j) thereof (as added by section 225 of Public Law 92– 603), (b) The amendment made by subsection (a) shall be applicable in the case of expenditures for skilled nursing services and for intermediate care facility services furnished in calendar quarters which begin after December 31, 1972.
