toll roads, bridges, tunnels, and ferries Sec. 118. (a) After the second sentence of section 129(b) of title 23, United States Code, insert the following: “When any such toll road which the Secretary has approved as a part of the Interstate System is made a toll-free facility, Federal-aid highway funds apportioned under section 104(b) (5) of this title may tie expended for the construction, reconstruction, or improvement of that road to meet the standards adopted for the improvement of projects located on the Interstate System.” (b) The first sentence of subsection (e) of section 129, title 23. United States Code, is amended by striking out “on the date of enactment of this subsection”. The third sentence of subsection (e) of section 129 of title 23, United States Code, is amended by striking out “1968” and inserting in lieu thereof “1973”.
