Transportation Planning, Research, and Development For necessary expenses for conducting transportation planning, research, and development activities, including the collection of national transportation statistics, to remain available until expended, 87 Stat. 330$26,000,000, of which not to exceed $1,000,000 shall be derived from the appropriation for “Research, engineering and development (Airport and Airway Trust Fund)”.
