housing appropriations limitations Sec. 507. There is authorized to be appropriated for use by the Secretary of Defense, or his designee, for military family housing as authorized by law for the following purposes: (1) for construction or acquisition of sole interest in family housing, including demolition, authorized improvements to public quarters, minor construction, relocation of family housing, rental guarantee payments, and planning an amount not to exceed $208,207,000, including $1,900,000 for the period July 1, 1976, through September 30, 1976. (2) for support of military family housing, including operating expenses, leasing, maintenance of real property, payments of principal and interest on mortgage debts incurred, payment to the Commodity Credit Corporation, and mortgage insurance premiums authorized under section 222 of the National Housing Act, as amended (12 U.S.C. 1715m), an amount not to exceed 89 STAT. 562$1,434,676,000, including $308,739,000 for the period July 1, 1976, through September 30, 1976.
