Sec. 301. During the current fiscal year and the period July 1, 1976, through September 30, 1976, applicable appropriations to the Department of Transportation shall be available tor maintenance and operation of aircraft; hire of passenger motor vehicles and aircraft: and uniforms, or allowances therefor, as authorized by law (5 U.S.C. 5901–5902).
