world food conference target Sec. 202. The Agricultural Trade Development and Assistance Act of 1954 is amended by inserting immediately after section 2 the following new section: “Sec. 3. Pursuant to the World Food Conference recommendation that donor countries provide a total of at least ten million tons of food assistance to needy nations annually, the President is urged to maintain a significant United States contribution to this goal and to encourage other countries to maintain and increase their contributions as well.”.
