Office of the Secretary salaries and expenses For necessary expenses of the Office of the Secretary of the Interior, including not to exceed $2,000 for official reception and representation expenses, $18,734,000. For “Salaries and expenses” for the period July 1, 1976, through September 30, 1976, $4,203,000. departmental operations For necessary expenses for certain operations that provide departmentwide services, $12,153,000. For “Departmental operations” for the period July 1, 1976, through September 30, 1976, $2,480,000. salaries and expenses (special foreign currency program) For payment in foreign currencies which the Treasury Department shall determine to be excess to the normal requirements of the United States, for necessary expenses of the Office of the Secretary, as authorized by law, $1,494,000, to remain available until expended: Provided, That this appropriation shall be available, in addition to other appropriations, to such office for payments in the foregoing currencies (7U.S.C. 1704). For “Salaries and Expenses (Special Foreign Currency Program)” for the period July 1, 1976, through September 30, 1976, $75,000, to remain available until expended.
