Plant and Capital Equipment For expenses of the Administration, as authorized by law, in connection with the purchase and construction of plant and the acquisition of capital equipment and other expenses incidental thereto necessary in carrying out the purposes of the Energy Reorganization Act of 1974, including the acquisition or condemnation of any real property or any facility or for plant or facility acquisition, construction, or expansion; purchase of not to exceed three hundred and thirty-four for replacement only, and hire of passenger motor vehicles; purchase of not to exceed two, acquisition without reimbursement of not to exceed two, and hire of aircraft; $907,642,000 to remain available until expended: Provided, That the amount appropriated in any other appropriation Act for “Plant and capital equipment” for the Energy Research and Development Administration for the fiscal year ending June 30, 1976, shall be merged, without limitation, with this appropriation. For “Plant and capital equipment,” except for purchase of motor vehicles and aircraft, for the period July 1, 1976, through September 30, 1976, $185,776,000 to remain available until expended: Provided, That the amount appropriated in any other appropriation Act for “Plant and capital equipment” for the Energy Research and Development Administration for the period July 1, 1976, through September 30, 1976, shall be merged, without limitation, with this appropriation.
