Limitations.—
Sec. 102. Limitations.— (a) The Administration is authorized to start any project set forth in subsections 101(b)(4), (5), (6), (8), (9), (11), and (14) only if the currently estimated cost of that project does not exceed by more than 25 per centum the estimated cost set forth for that project. (b) The Administration is authorized to start any project set forth in subsections 101(b)(7) and (10) only if the currently estimated cost of that project does not exceed by more than 10 per centum the estimated cost set forth for that project. (c) The Administration is authorized to start any project under subsection 101(b)(12) only if it is in accordance with the following: (1) The maximum currently estimated cost of any project shall be $750,000 and the maximum currently estimated cost of any building included in such project shall be $300,000: Provided, That the building cost limitation may be exceeded if the Administration determines that it is necessary in the interest of efficiency and economy. (2) The total cost of all projects undertaken under subsection 101(b)(12) shall not exceed the estimated cost set forth in that section by more than 10 per centum. (d) The total cost of any project undertaken under subsections 101 (b)(4), (5), (6), (8), (9), (11), and (14) shall not exceed the estimated cost set forth for that project by more than 25 per centum unless and until additional appropriations are authorized under section 261 of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended: Provided, That this subsection will not apply to any project with an estimated cost less than $5,000,000. (e) The total cost of any project undertaken under subsection 101 (b)(7) and (10) shall not exceed the estimated cost set forth for that project by more than 10 per centum, unless and until additional appropriations are authorized under section 261 of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended: Provided, That this subsection will not apply to any project with an estimated cost less than $5,000,000.
