Sec. 122. (a) Section 405 of the Appalachian Regional Development Act of 1965 (40 App. U.S.C. 405) is amended by striking “July 1, 1975” and inserting in lieu thereof, “October 1, 1979”. (b) The Appalachian Regional Commission shall submit to Congress by July 1, 1977, a report on the progress being made on implementing section 2(b) of the Appalachian Regional Development Act of 1965, the energy related enterprise development demonstration authority in section 302 of such Act, and other amendments made by this title.
