SEC. 407. EXAMINATIONS. (a) Examination by Investment Division.—Section 310 of the Small Business Investment Act of 1958 (15 U.S.C. 687b) is amended by striking from subsection (b) “Administration by examiners selected or approved by” and by inserting in lieu thereof the following: “Investment Division of”. (b) Transfer of Resources.—Effective October 1, 1992, the personnel, assets, liabilities, contracts, property, records, and unexpended balances of appropriations, authorizations, and other funds employed, held, used, arising from, available or to be made available, which are related to the examination function provided by section 310 of the Small Business Investment Act or 1958 shall be transferred by the Inspector General of the Small Business Administration to the Investment Division of the Small Business Administration.
