emergency relief Sec. 119. (a) Section 125(a) of title 23, United States Code, is amended— (1) by striking out “June 30, 1972,” and inserting in lieu thereof “June 30, 1972, and ending before June 1, 1976,”; 90 STAT. 438 (2) by striking out “June 30, 1973.” and inserting in lieu thereof “June 30, 1973, to carry out the provisions of this section, and not more than $25,000,000 for the three-month period beginning July 1, 1970, and ending September 30, 1976, is authorized to be expended to carry out the provisions of this section, and not more than $100,000,000 is authorized to be expended in any one fiscal .year commencing after September 30, 1976.”; and (3) by adding before the last sentence the following new sentence: “For the purposes of this section the period beginning July 1, 1976, and ending September 30, 1976, shall be deemed to be a part of the fiscal year ending September 30, 1977.”. (b) The second sentence of section 125(h) of such title is amended by striking out the period and inserting in lieu thereof the following: “, except that if the President has declared such emergency to be a major disaster for the purposes of the Disaster “Relief Act of 1974 (Public Law 93–288) concurrence of the Secretary is not required.”.
