Urban Mass Transportation Administration urban mass transportation fund liquidation of contract authorization For an additional payment to the Urban Mass Transportation Fund, for liquidation of contractual obligations incurred under authority of the Urban Mass Transportation Act of 1964 (49 U.S.C. 1601 et seq., as amended by Public Laws 93–153 and 93–503) and sections 103(e)(4) and 142(c) of Title 23, U.S. Code, $50,000,000, to remain available until expended; and authority is hereby provided to use any undisbursed balances appropriated under this heading prior to August 29, 1974, for the purposes of Public Law 93–503 (National Mass Transportation Assistance Act of 1974). research, development and demonstrations and university research and training For an additional amount for “Research, Development and Demonstrations”, $1,500,000, to remain available until expended: Provided, That the amount shall be available for the purpose of title II, Public Law 93–503 (National Mass Transportation Assistance Act of 1974).
