Of the amount appropriated under paragraph (1) of section 101(a) of this Act for salaries and expenses, $10,000 shall be available for payment ex gratia to Lady Catherine Helen Shaw, wife of the former Australian Ambassador to the United States, as an expression of the concern of the United States Government for the injuries which she sustained as a result of an attack on her in the District of Columbia.
