Sec. 301. For the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1976, the components of the Armed Forces are authorized end strengths for active duty personnel as follows: (1) The Army, 789,000; (2) The Navy, 540,600; (3) The Marine Corps, 192,000; (4) The Air Force, 571,000.
