General Provision

General Provision Sec. 801. Section 11(c)(6) of the Federal Transit Act (49 U.S.C. App. 1607c(c)(6)) is amended by adding at the end the following new sentence: “For fiscal year 1992, the Secretary shall expend from administrative and research funds deducted for such fiscal year under section 104(a) of title 23, United States Code, $1,000,000 for making grants under paragraph (3) to North Carolina A. and T. State University through the Institute for Transportation Research and Education and shall use all amounts appropriated for such fiscal year pursuant to this paragraph to carry out paragraph (3) for making grants to the University of South Florida and a consortium of Florida A and M, Florida State University, and Florida International University.”.
