NATIONAL HIGHWAY TRAFFIC SAFETY ADMINISTRATION Traffic and Highway Safety For expenses necessary to discharge the functions of the Secretary with respect to traffic and highway safety and functions under the Motor Vehicle Information and Cost Savings Act (Public Law 92–513), $72,326,000, of which $26,746,000 shall be derived from the Highway Trust Fund: Provided, That not to exceed $29,876,000 shall remain available until expended, of which $8,616,000 shall be derived from the Highway Trust Fund for contractual requirements of Research and Analysis activities. State and Community Highway Safety (Liquidation of Contract Authorization) For payment of obligations incurred in carrying out the provisions of title 23, United States Code, sections 402 and 406, to remain available until expended, $88,500,000, of which $83,360,000 shall be derived from the Highway Trust Fund.
