amendment to the education amendments of 1974 Sec. 501. Section 409 of the Education Amendments of 1974 is amended by inserting “(a)” after the section designation and by adding at the end thereof the fol lowing new subsection: “(b) Notwithstanding the provisions of section 402(b) (3) (G) and section 402(b) (4) of this Act, and in addition to sums reserved under that section and made available under subsection (a) of this section, there are authorized to be appropriated $2,000,000 for fiscal year 1978 to carry out the purposes of this section.”.
