Sec. 309. (a) The title of chapter 35 of title 38, United States Code, is amended by striking out “CHAPTER 35—WAR ORPHANS’ AND WIDOWS’ EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE” and inserting in lieu thereof “CHAPTER 35—SURVIVORS’ AND DEPENDENTS’ EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE” (b) The table of chapters at the beginning of title 38, United States Code, and the table of chapters at the beginning of part III of such title are each amended by striking out “35. War Orphans’ and Widows’ Education Assistance 1700” and inserting in lieu thereof “35. Survivors’ and Dependents’ Educational Assistance 1700”. (c) Section 1731(a) is amended by striking out “section 1780” and inserting in lien thereof “chapter 36”.
