Furniture and Furnishings For necessary expenses for the purchase and repair of furniture, furnishings, office and library equipment, $4,078,000, of which $3,136,000 shall be available until expended only for the purchase and supply of furniture, book stacks, shelving, furnishings, and related costs necessary for the initial outfitting of the James Madison Memorial Library Building. Not to exceed $20,000 of the unobligated balance of the appropriation under this head for the fiscal year 1975, which would have otherwise lapsed, is hereby continued available until June 30, 1976. For “Furniture and furnishings” for the period July 1, 1976, through September 30, 1976, $145,300, of which $58,000 shall be available until expended only for the purchase and supply of furniture, book stacks, shelving, furnishings, and related costs necessary for the initial outfitting of the James Madison Memorial Library Building.
