Sec. 408. Section 10 of the Voting Eights Act of 1965 is amended— (1) by striking out subsection (d); (2) in subsection (b), by inserting “and section 2 of the twenty-fourth amendment” immediately after “fifteenth amendment”; and (3) by striking out “and” the first, time it appears in subsection (b), and inserting in lieu thereof a comma.
