nutrition education materials Sec. 1426. In order to encourage nutrition education programs in the classrooms and lunchrooms of elementary and secondary schools, the Secretary shall, in consultation with appropriate officers in the Department of Health, Education, and Welfare, develop and distribute to State departments of education a comprehensive set of educational materials on food and nutrition education which shall be appropriate for all levels of the elementary and secondary education system.
