authorization for appropriations for extension education Sec. 1464. Notwithstanding any authorization for appropriations for the Cooperative Extension Service in any Act enacted prior to the date of enactment of this title, there are hereby authorized to be appropriated for the purposes of carrying out the extension programs of the Department of Agriculture $260,000,000 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1978, $280,000,000 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1979, $300,000,000 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1980, $320,000,000 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1981, and $350,000,000 for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1982, and not in excess of such sums as may after the date of enactment of this title be authorized by law for any subsequent fiscal year.
